The Micron 7450 PRO is an enterprise NVMe SSD built for cloud and large-scale data centers that run varied workloads. With 7680 GB of capacity, it connects through a U.3 PCIe 4.0 (NVMe) interface and comes in a 2.5-inch, 7 mm high form factor.
The drive uses Micron's own 176-layer NAND with CMOS-under-Array architecture. Sequential read speeds reach 6800 MB/s and write speeds 5600 MB/s. For random access, it delivers up to 1,000,000 read IOPS and 215,000 write IOPS, with latency kept below 2 ms while maintaining 99.9999% QoS.
Hardware encryption, power-loss protection (PLP) and support for the OCP NVMe SSD 2.0 standard for intelligent data center management are included. Rated at 14,000 TBW, with an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours and a 1 DWPD endurance level, the SSD is designed for continuous server operation.
