Michael Grant - Téboly

Sadie McLure wants to find the people who killed her family. Noah Cotton wants to find out what drove his brother crazy. Searching for answers, as a result of accidental - or only apparently accidental - encounters, both find themselves in the dizzying world of nanotechnology, where biots and nanobots fight, and their controllers try to preserve their sanity. The fight is for man's freedom of choice. Any day could be the last. Téboly, set in the near future, is the story of the battle for control of the human mind. A pair of power-obsessed twins want to rule the world. Their goal is to realize their utopian dream: the complete elimination of wars, social differences, and hunger. The price of this beautiful new world is, of course, the suppression of free will. Fighting against the twins is the group code-named Téboly, whose young members cling to the previous form of life, no matter how messy, and do not renounce the basic element of what it means to be human, the freedom of the mind. The battlefield is unusual: weapons collide in the human body at the nano level. Nothing could be so familiar and homey, but at the same time nothing could be more terrifying and alien. The one who falls short loses not only the battle, but also his sanity. and#34;As if Stephen King had written Lord of the Flies, you have to imagine this incredibly exciting book.and#34; (Voya) The American MICHAEL GRANT is the dark genius of youth thrillers. He likes speed, he also lives his life at a fast pace, very diversely. During his career, he has been a restaurant critic, bowling alley maintainer, waiter, librarian and film producer. He is at home in the world of science fiction and fantasy. His hugely successful Gone series and his more recent bestseller, Téboly, are also a mixture of these genres, although the latter can also be called a techno-thriller due to its meticulously described body journeys and impressive twists. Grant doesn't like and can't describe his writings and his character as a writer with a single sentence, he lists twenty or so slogans on his website as a joke. Which one is the best? Maybe this: Michael Grant's writings freeze the blood in the veins of the readers.
