Mezei Gábor - Száraztenger

Budapest, Bükk, Börzsöny, Gyöngyös, Debrecen, Balaton - largely known, certainly concrete locations, the perception's own and general presence at the same time. The geometric forms of contemporary urban or forest spaces, the lines of force of the description, the drawing of the locus, their transformations in poetry, their writing in verse rhythm. Found and built landscapes are formed here, which become lyrics at the very moment when they imperceptibly and suddenly reach the unknown from the most concrete familiarity, the everyday. This transition does not surprise or shock you, but it leads you to the far from foreign landscapes of the city of poetry. Gábor Mezei (1982) is a poet.
