This 3D metal model from Metal Earth lets you build two classic Star Wars droids, C-3PO and R2-D2, from laser-cut steel sheets. No glue or soldering is required: the parts are punched out of the coloured sheets and folded together using tabs and pliers or tweezers, following a detailed instruction guide.
The set contains two sheets of laser-cut steel for each model and is suitable for ages 14 and up. Assembled, R2-D2 measures about 11.4 x 5.7 x 8.9 cm and C-3PO about 6.6 x 3.3 x 11.9 cm, making them compact display pieces for indoor use.
