MEROSS MS405-EU smart water leak sensor

The MEROSS MS405-EU is a smart water leak sensor designed to detect leaks around the home early. It has two sensors, one in the upper and one in the lower part of the housing, so it can register water dripping from pipes as well as liquid pooling on the floor. When a leak is detected, the sensor and the hub both sound a 100 dB alarm, and the Meross app sends a push notification to your smartphone.

Measuring 63 × 63 × 27 mm, the compact housing is easy to place discreetly, for example under a sink or near the washing machine. The enclosure is rated IP66, offering protection against water and dust. The sensor runs on two AAA batteries, which can be replaced. A Meross hub is required for operation. Compatibility with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Samsung SmartThings allows it to be integrated into an existing smart home setup.
