The Mellanox 980-9I549-00H002 is a passive copper cable for InfiniBand HDR connections, supporting data rates of up to 200 Gb/s. Its QSFP56 connectors allow direct links between compatible network adapters, switches and server components in data centre and server environments.
The 2-metre cable features an LSZH jacket. This low-smoke, zero-halogen material releases fewer toxic and corrosive gases in the event of a fire, making it well suited to enclosed server rooms and infrastructure installations.
As a passive copper cable, it requires no external power supply and contains no active electronics. It is intended for short-distance connections between neighbouring devices where a stable and straightforward installation is needed.
