The Meade Polaris 114mm EQ Reflector Telescope is a quality instrument for observing the Solar System and deep-sky objects. It is a reflector telescope that always produces clear images without chromatic distortion. The telescope is ideal for rural observations.

The Meade Polaris 114mm model comes with three eyepieces: a 6.3mm (143x), a 9mm (100x) and a 25mm (36x). In addition, the package includes a Barlow lens, which enables multiple magnifications without additional accessories. With the Red Dot finder, you can quickly target the objects you want to observe, while the planetarium software on the DVD helps you find your way around the night sky.

The telescope tube is mounted on a dovetail joint plate. A reinforced equatorial stand compensates for the diurnal movement of the night sky. The stand has slow motion controls and can be equipped with a motor drive. The three-legged steel stand provides excellent stability for the device.

AutoStar astronomy software helps you study the night sky. It displays over 10,000 celestial bodies including planets, stars, galaxies and nebulae. You can print star maps and even plan your observations. It only works on a Windows computer.
