The Meade Infinity 70mm AZ Refractor Telescope is a quality, entry-level refractor designed for observing the Moon and other objects found in the Solar System. Its 70 mm objective lens creates a clear and sharp image. With this model you can see the polar ice caps and seas at opposition on Mars, the phases of Venus, the rings of Saturn and many other celestial bodies. The telescope is also suitable for terrestrial observations.

The set includes two eyepieces – one eyepiece with a long focal length can cover a large area, while a short focal length eyepiece can be used for high-magnification observations. The model is equipped with a Red Dot finder scope. The package also includes a DVD containing the Planetarium software.

The telescope is mounted on an Alt-azimuth stand. Such stands are very easy to use and optimal for visual observations.

AutoStar astronomy software helps you study the night sky. It displays over 10,000 celestial bodies including planets, stars, galaxies and nebulae. You can print star maps and even plan your observations. It only works on a Windows computer.
