Product description
The small Bresser Arcturus 60/700 achromatic refractor is perfect for beginners due to its ease of use, as no prior experience is required. In addition, it is mounted on a simple Alt-azimuth stand, which does not need to be pre-adjusted before observation, and the micrometer screw on the vertical axis allows you to track objects comfortably. With this telescope you can observe lunar craters, Jupiter's companion objects, Saturn's rings and many other interesting objects. The special up-facing lenses create a direct image of the observed objects, so you can use this telescope as a high-performance observation telescope for terrestrial observations.
The telescope has an f/11.7 focal ratio and high-quality coated glass that provides great colors and reduces the effects of chromatic aberration.
The device has a focus adjuster, which is a 1.25" diameter cylinder, and allows you to mount accessories from other manufacturers on the device. The basic kit provides magnification in the range of 35x - 262x. There is enough space in the practical and durable carrying case it's there to store the telescope and all the accessories, but it's also not too big, so you can take it with you on public transport to find the best vantage point.
