Max Seeck - Hálóban (2021)

On the day that two popular influencers in Finland disappear under mysterious circumstances, the body of a young woman dressed in a manga washes ashore at sea.

Detective Jessica Niemi races against time to find the connection between the crimes in the chilling new novel from the Witch Hunter author.

It's been six months since Jessica met the mysterious witch sect and her boss died. The murder squad, with a new leader at the helm, works to investigate a series of strange disappearances: it seems that a criminal network, whose members organize themselves on Instagram, is driving the threads. Plus, someone is messing with the police. Someone who has no intention of stopping the deadly game.

While Jessica is determined to focus on the case, nightly nightmares plague her, which suddenly seem all too real. It's as if her dead mother wants to tell her something, and the sect that consumed her many years ago is now trying to take Jessica's life...

In the Net is a breathtaking psychological thriller about dark secrets and the lengths some people are willing to go to keep them.
