MATAGOT Takenoko board game 2-4 players 8+ 57015G

Takenoko is a charming board game of medium difficulty for 2 to 4 players aged 8 and up. Players take turns to tend a giant panda, a gift from the Chinese emperor, and build up a bamboo garden. Each turn you lay irrigation channels, arrange garden tiles, grow bamboo and move the panda, while trying to complete a range of objective cards.

The game combines strategic planning with an element of chance, so choosing which objectives to pursue and when to take each action shapes the outcome. It is designed for indoor play.

A typical game lasts about 60 minutes. The box contains 46 objective cards, 78 bamboo pieces, 20 irrigation channels, 4 tiles, figures for the panda and gardener, and the rulebook. It makes a good choice for family game nights.
