Marrakech is a strategic board game for 2 to 4 players, suited to children aged 8 to 10 and older. It transports players to the bustling bazaars of Morocco, where rival carpet merchants compete for the best spots in the market. Each player places their own carpets to cover as much of the marketplace as possible, moving the figure Suleika in turn before laying a carpet of their own. Landing on an opponent's carpet means you must pay them, so every placement needs careful thought.
Designed by Dominique Ehrhard, the game offers simple rules and a quick pace, making it a good choice for family game nights. Its strategic depth also keeps more experienced players engaged.
