Marko Kloos - Renegátok

In the battle against Earth, humanity won by destroying the core ship of the gnats, but Mars is still under alien occupation, and the oxygen and food supplies of those trapped there are at a critical level. The military is desperately building new battleships and interplanetary defense systems to replace those destroyed, but the raw materials available are finite. Andrew Grayson's days are spent in training: he tries to sculpt young volunteers into soldiers ready to fight as soon as possible - and he tries to burn the memories he carried with him from the bloody battles out of his mind with the help of alcohol and drugs.

Meanwhile, the Commonwealth and Sinorus have two options: either head for Mars with what they have, or track down the renegades, who fled shortly before the Earth invasion, taking with them a number of priceless warships, the recovery of which will give humanity its own could turn the outcome of the upcoming Martian conflict to his advantage. A small team, with Grayson and his paratrooper wife Halley leading the way, sets out on a reconnaissance mission to a distant moon of an alien solar system to map out the renegade defense lines. Their journey will not only be full of unexpected turns and dangers, but it can also greatly influence the future of humanity.
