Humanity has won the battle on Mars, but faces a greater danger than ever before.

The Nyurga invasion was repelled, and their ships left the Solar System. Andrew Grayson is serving on Mars, and during his missions, he is clearing out the small and large nests of stragglers still hiding on the planet. However, the units still cannot rest on the garrisons outside the Solar System, the presence of the alien race is constant in their vicinity.

A new mission awaits Grayson and his paratrooper wife, Halley. One that they haven't had before.
