Mark Haddon - A Delfin (2020)

Angelica, the newborn baby, is the sole survivor of a tragic plane crash. Her fabulously rich father protects her from the wind, he raises the girl in complete isolation from the world, who knows nothing about the rumors circulating about her. But one day Darius, the young art dealer, arrives at the luxurious villa and learns more about the relationship between the girl and her father than he should. Fleeing for his life on the ship Delfin, he escapes from his pursuer, who wants to kill him...
And thus begins the crazy adventure soaked in blood, tears and salt water, which tosses and turns on the waves of the narrative between today's France, ancient Greece and Shakespeare's England; which will sink on the rock reefs of grief, but still reach the shore; in which pirates plunder, plague rages, and a princess wins the hand of a wrestling champion - and in which members of a scattered family try to find their way home in a cruel world.
