    The Makita GA036GZ is a cordless angle grinder with a 150 mm disc diameter, part of the Makita XGT 40V system. It is built for heavy cutting and coarse grinding tasks, including on construction sites. Its brushless motor delivers efficient, durable operation and reaches a maximum no-load speed of 8,500 rpm. The tool runs on a 40-volt lithium-ion battery, which is not included.

    Safety features include a motor brake, soft start, restart protection, a safety switch and XPT (Xtreme Protect Technology) protection against dust and splashing water, rated IP56. The grinder can be operated from either side thanks to the auxiliary side handle. It is switched on and off with the non-lockable paddle switch located at the bottom.

    The package includes a side handle, guard, grinding disc and clamping flange. Weight without battery is 1.8 kg.
