MAGUS Stereo 8T stereo microscope

The stereomicroscope is designed for working with volume samples and studying their structural elements; it makes visible the volume of the object and the outline of its surface. The MAGUS Stereo 8T type has built-in illumination for transparent and opaque samples. Available options include working in polarized light and the dark-field method (with additional accessories only).
Greenough's optical design includes two autonomous optical channels: It is as if a person were examining a magnified object with the naked eye. This design results in a sharp and authentic 3D image thanks to the 15° stereoscopic viewing angle. The image of the object is magnified while maintaining its spatial position, so you can work with it comfortably. This type is suitable for, among other things, restoration work, soldering and fitting of parts, checking the compliance of the sample with quality standards.

The microscope head contains two eyepiece tubes and a separate tube for the camera. A special feature of the head is the rotating mechanism: It can be fixed in any position and rotated up to 360°. The complete eyepieces with 10x magnification and 22 mm field of view have a diopter adjustment mechanism and a long eye distance, which makes them comfortable for users who wear glasses. You can change the camera's magnification or field of view using a C-mount adapter with its own magnifier.

The lens changes the magnification and focal length at the same time, so the subject always remains in focus; the magnification ratio is 8.4:1. We look at the object in the same position in which it is placed on the table. Additional objective lenses change the magnification or field of view and also affect the working distance of the microscope.

The MAGUS Stereo 8T type has both a coarse and fine focusing system. These buttons are located on the same axis and can be found on both sides of the stand. Fine focusing is practical at higher magnifications. The stiffness of the coarse focus shift can be adjusted by the user.

The characteristics of the specimen dictate the selection of the microscope stage plate. A transparent plate is used to observe the samples in transmitted light. This will make the lighting soft and even. An opaque black-and-white plate is suitable for observations in reflected light. The object is placed in such a way that it contrasts.

The object is illuminated with LED lights, transmitted light or reflected light from oblique lighting. Both lamps have a power of 3 W and a lifespan of 50,000 hours.

The advantage of this product line of microscopes is the wide selection of additional components. The product type can be equipped with eyepieces or additional objective lenses, a digital camera, and accessories for working with the dark-field method or polarized light. Different types of lighting fixtures direct the light according to the user's needs and make work more efficient. The stand row allows you to set the microscope head in the desired position.
