The stereomicroscope is an indispensable tool for the detailed study of volumetric samples. It reproduces the virtual volume of the object and provides a clear picture of its topography, thereby allowing the examination of its structure. The device is equipped with transmitted and reflected light and allows working with both transparent and opaque samples. Optionally, the polarized light and dark field methods are also available.
The advantages of the Greenough optical design are the high depth of field and, thanks to the 15° stereoscopic angle, the three-dimensional nature of the image. The stereomicroscope magnifies the object and accurately depicts its spatial position: the image is created without inversion. Therefore, the microscope is an ideal tool for handling objects within the working area of ​​105 to 177 millimeters. Stereomicroscopes are widely used in restoration quality control, assembly, soldering, jewelry work, and other similar processes.

The head part of the MAGUS Stereo 7B microscope has 2 eyepieces. If you want to connect a digital camera, it can be inserted into one of the tubes. For comfortable and efficient observation, the head part can be rotated 360° and can be fixed in any intermediate position. The microscope comes with 2 eyepieces with 10x magnification and a field of view of 22 mm. The diopter can be adjusted on the lenses, and the eye distance is also comfortable for people who wear glasses.

The zoom lens enables 6.7x magnification without blurring the subject. The resulting image is volumetric and vertical. With additional objective lenses of different magnifications, you can increase the magnification or the field of view, as well as change the working distance.

The MAGUS Stereo 7B model only has coarse focus. There are two focus adjustment buttons on both sides of the stand. The stiffness of the range of motion is adjustable.

The stage is equipped with two different plates. Transparent is used for working with transmitted light. It scatters the light so that the object is illuminated evenly and softly. The second disc is black and white. It is placed on the stage according to the principle of contrast with the observed object and can be used for opaque samples.

The microscope is equipped with transmitted and reflected light. Reflected light creates oblique lighting. Both lights are based on 3 W LEDs with a lifespan of 50,000 hours.

The microscope is complemented by a number of extra parts, which you can purchase separately. The range includes eyepieces and additional objective lenses: These provide different magnification, modify the field of view and the working distance of the microscope. With the help of digital cameras with a wide range of functions, you can display the image on the screen and document the observations. You can purchase calibration slides to measure objects. For studies using the dark-field method or polarized light, the microscope can be equipped with a dark-field condenser or polarizing device. There are many different illuminations for even wider functions of the microscope: classic ring, ring with polarizer or sector changer, and flexible arm. Different stands allow you to choose the optimal position of the microscope head above the work area and expand the work area.
