MAGUS Metal 650 metallographic microscope

The MAGUS Metal 650 is a metallographic microscope designed for examining samples in reflected light. Its large stage, measuring 280 x 270 mm and travelling 204 mm along two axes, accommodates photomasks, printed circuit boards, integrated circuits and other long or wide specimens, making it easy to study their surfaces. Brightfield and polarised observations are both possible, and the 0.7 µm fine focusing scale keeps focusing precise even at high magnification.

The trinocular head is tilted at 30° and has a tube suitable for attaching a digital camera, allowing photos and videos to be captured and the image projected onto an external screen. The standard configuration provides 50x to 800x magnification, with five objectives supplied in the revolving nosepiece. The 30 W halogen illumination produces warm light with adjustable brightness, so you can work for extended periods with less eye strain.
