Product description
MAGUS CLM microscope cameras are designed for fluorescent and dark field techniques. The CLM90 type is monochrome, with a maximum image resolution of 3200x2200 px. The frame rate for recording video depends on the value of the resolution, it can be 51.3 or 133.8 fps. The camera works effectively with 4x, 10x, 20x, and 40x magnification lenses, as it can capture small details well with low magnification lenses. It is equipped with a Peltier element, which cools the matrix, resulting in excellent image quality. The global lock creates a distortion-free image even if the object is moving. The recording is displayed on the monitor via the USB 3.0 interface, without quality loss. The camera is also suitable for professional work or university training.
Inside the camera is a 1.1" diagonal SONY Exmor CMOS sensor with a pixel size of 4.5x4.5 μm. The back-illumination technique used by SONY in the matrices increases the light sensitivity: in this model, it is 3354 mV, 1/30 second The monochrome matrix does not allow you to distinguish the individual colors of the object, but it makes it bright and high-contrast, which can be important when shooting in low light conditions.
The Peltier element is a special thermoelectric module that keeps the temperature 42°C below room temperature. It is very important to keep the matrix cool in the camera. During long-term operation, it can heat up, which can lead to thermal noise and, consequently, to a deterioration in image quality. The Peltier element keeps the temperature of the sensor at an acceptable level, so the image quality remains exceptionally good.
Another feature of this type is that it has a global lock. With this, the equipment can read the signals of all the diodes simultaneously. The resulting image is authentic and free of distortion, even if the given object is moving.
The software in the camera allows you to take photos and record videos, process them, and measure the linear and angular dimensions of the object, as well as its structure. Before the measurement, use the calibration slider to calibrate the software for each object. If necessary, you can also connect the device to a computer via the USB 3.0 interface. It can transfer data at high speed and maintain image quality even when projected onto an external screen.
The camera can be connected to the microscope via the trinocular tube. Use the C-mount adapter for mounting.
