With the MAGUS CLM cameras that can be mounted on the microscope, you can record using fluorescent and dark field technology. The CLM50 model is suitable for working with 60x and 100x objectives. The 1.7 MP sensor produces a 1600x1100 pixel image. The frame rate is 33 fps. The special cooling element in the camera prevents the sensor from heating up and maintains high image quality. The global shutter instantly captures and creates the image without distortion and without trailing (blurred light stream), even in the case of a moving subject. The camera has a USB 3.0 interface. Thanks to the high-speed data transfer to the computer, the image does not lose its quality when displayed on an external screen. The camera is designed for use in professional environments and for university-level education.
The camera is based on a SONY Exmor color CMOS sensor. These sensors work with backlight technology to improve light sensitivity. The CLM50 provides a light sensitivity of 4910 mV at 1/30 sec thanks to a large sensor size of 1.1" and a large pixel size of 9x9 µm. The camera captures a color image, which can be useful in sample color studies.

The camera has a special cooling module (Peltier element). During prolonged use, the sensor heats up and causes thermal noise in the image. The Peltier element cools the sensor 42 °C below room temperature. This way, the image remains clear, and the camera can record without interference even with a long shutter speed.
Another advantage of this model is the global lock. It reads signals from all pixels simultaneously and instantly captures a realistic and distortion-free image, even if the subject is in motion.

The camera has software installed at the factory. It allows you to take photos and videos, edit the results, and perform linear and angular measurements on the object and its structures. The camera must be mounted in the three-eyepiece tube of the microscope using a C-mount adapter.
- It works effectively in fluorescent light and in a dark field of vision
- Creates a color image with a resolution of 1600x1100 pixels (frame rate: 33 frames/sec)
- Built-in Peltier element cools the sensor, maintains high image quality and allows you to shoot with a long shutter speed
- The global shutter captures the image immediately, without deformation, even in the case of a moving object
- The USB 3.0 interface ensures high image quality when displayed on an external screen thanks to the high data transfer rate
