MAGUS CHD50 digital camera
Product description
The MAGUS CHD50 is a camera designed for integration with a microscope. With the device's built-in software, photos and videos can be taken, the results can be processed, and measurements can be made on the object. Through three different interfaces (HDMI, WLAN, and USB 2.0), the camera can be connected to a computer or other equipment that can display photos and video recordings. The 8 MP sensor captures high-quality images in 4K resolution (3840x2160 px). The camera automatically switches to Full HD (1920x1080 px) playback mode when requested by the external screen. The video recording frame rate is 30 fps. The device is equipped with an autofocus function. The result is a high-quality, realistic, detailed image without lag, tearing or blurring, even when the subject is moving.

Sensor
The equipment was built on an 8 MP SONY Stavis CMOS sensor. The backlight mode provides a light sensitivity of 505 mV with a shutter speed of 1/30 second. The sensor size is 1/1.8'' with 2.0x2.0 μm pixel size. Use a 0.5x to 0.75x magnification adapter to create the maximum field of view without distortion.

Software
The camera can be connected to a computer via a USB 2.0 and WLAN connection, and to a TV monitor or projector via an HDMI connection. With an HDMI connection, the camera automatically focuses on the subject, so the equipment creates clear photos or videos without any extra effort. The software can be used to edit images, as well as to measure the linear and angular dimensions of the given object, as well as its structure. To perform the measurement, use the calibration slider to calibrate the camera software for each object.

Installation in the microscope
You can integrate the camera with the microscope by mounting it on the trinocular tube or on the eyepiece tube in place of one of the eyepieces. In both cases, you'll need a C-mount adapter. To connect to the eyepiece tube, you will also need to get an adapter ring to attach it to the eyepiece tube.

Additional tools
For more efficient operation, we recommend connecting other additional devices to the camera. By using a mouse, vibration can be eliminated when there is a direct connection with the camera (connection via USB port). You can also save the pictures and videos you have taken on an SD card or pen drive. You can also use a special MAGUS screen to create a complete imaging system. You can install them directly on the camera and integrate them with the MAGUS microscope.
- The 8 MP CMOS sensor creates a 4K resolution image (3840x2160 px). The equipment automatically converts this to Full HD (1920x1080 px) if the external screen requires it.
- Three different HDMI, WLAN and USB 2.0 interfaces allow the camera to be connected to a computer or an external screen
- With a light sensitivity of 505 mV at a shutter speed of 1/30 second, you can film even in low light
- Autofocus is enabled when the equipment is connected via HDMI. This mode provides a clear image without any additional effort.
- With the built-in software, the camera can work independently without a computer
