The MAGUS CHD10 is an entry-level HDMI digital camera for microscopes, designed to capture photos and videos, process images and measure observed specimens. It mounts in the eyepiece tube of a microscope, and a C-mount adapter with a ring matching the tube diameter is required for connection. It can also be fitted to a trinocular tube using a C-mount adapter.

Video is recorded at 60 frames per second, producing sharp, distortion-free Full HD images at 1920 x 1080 pixels, even when observing moving objects. The image can be displayed live on a monitor, TV or projector screen and saved to an SD card. The Sony STARVIS colour CMOS sensor with backlight technology performs well in low-light conditions.

The camera works independently and does not need to be connected to a computer, though it can also be paired with other devices. For length and angle measurements, the software must be calibrated for each objective using a calibration slide.
