Video eyepiece SONY Exmor with 8.3 MP digital sensor. The sensor is back-illuminated to improve light sensitivity and produce clear images that can be captured even in low-light conditions. The camera is suitable for work with 4x, 10x and 20x magnification objectives, dark field or bright field microscopy. It also works with stereomicroscopes. A USB 3.0 port with a high data transfer rate (5 Gbps) can be used to connect to a computer and display images on the screen.

The MAGUS CDF30 camera can be installed in the microscope's three-eye tube or eyepiece tube. A maximum field of view free of optical defects can be achieved with a 0.65x-0.9x magnification adapter. In addition to the adapter, you will also need an adapter ring that matches the diameter of the tube for installation in the eyepiece tube.

The image can be displayed on the computer screen with a resolution of up to 3840x2160 px. The frame rate is 45 fps. At a lower resolution (1920x1080 px), the frame rate increases to 70 fps. Transitions between frames are lag-free and almost imperceptible, making the camera well suited for studying and presenting moving objects. You can also capture and save photos and videos in different formats.

Before using the MAGUS CDF30 digital camera, you need to install a special program on your computer. The camera comes with a CD containing the drivers and MAGUS View software. The software must be calibrated for each lens. This requires a calibration slide that is not included in the kit.
