Digital camera
Digital camera with a 2 megapixel sensor for examining micro-objects using dark field or bright field microscopy techniques. The camera has a backlit color SONY Exmor CMOS sensor. This increases light sensitivity (2350mV at 1/30s) and improves image quality in low light conditions. Optimum performance can be achieved by using lenses with 40x, 60x and 100x magnification.

The MAGUS CDF10 camera can display the image of the object in Full HD (1920x1080 px) resolution on the computer monitor, as well as record photos and videos in various formats. Data transfer between the camera and the computer takes place via a USB 3.0 interface with a data transfer rate of 5 Gbps. At maximum resolution, the video is displayed at 125 frames per second with smooth transitions between frames. The camera is excellent for studying moving objects and can also be used for lectures or presentations.

Optical elements
The three-lens head part has a vertical tube suitable for mounting a digital camera. The camera (sold separately) is an excellent solution for digitally archiving examinations and projecting images onto an external monitor screen. The observation tubes can be rotated 360° to a position corresponding to the height of the user. The left tube is equipped with a diopter adjustment ring.

The revolver head faces the inner part, leaving the space above the stage free. Five lenses can be mounted in the turret at the same time (the kit contains 4 lenses, and the 5th slot is designed for an additional lens). In the basic configuration, the infinity-corrected objectives provide magnification between 40 and 1000x. With optional eyepieces, the upper limit can be increased to 1500, 1600 or 2000x.

Lighting
The halogen bulb provides a warm spectrum of light that reduces eye fatigue and is ideal for long hours of work with the microscope. The bulb is 30 W, so regardless of the type of lens used and the observation technique used, the brightness and contrast of the transferred image is high.

The Abbe condenser is adjustable in height and can be centered. Lighting can be controlled by adjusting the iris and field diaphragms, and it is also possible to adjust the Köhler lighting for clearer images. The condenser has an opening for mounting a phase-contrast or dark-field slide, which speeds up the process and makes it easy to switch between different microscopy techniques.

Stage and focusing structure
There is no positioning stand on the stage. This is an advantage of the design of the mechanical stage, as it facilitates the handling of the microscope. The sample can be easily moved on the stage. The mechanical mount is removable (can be removed for manual scanning).

Coarse and fine focus can be adjusted; moving the focus knob is simple and easy and requires no extra effort. The coarse focusing mechanism has a lock button and is adjustable in tension. The focus buttons are coaxial, positioned for maximum comfort during long hours of observation, and are located on the base of the microscope so that you can rest your hands comfortably on the table.

Accessories
In order to maximize the performance of the MAGUS Bio 230T microscope, you can further expand it with certain accessories. These include eyepieces and objectives, digital cameras and calibration slides, dark field condensers, polarized light and phase contrast microscopic observation devices.
