Product description
Research quality microscope. For observing transparent and translucent biological samples, such as smears and cross-sections, in transmitted light using the bright field method. By installing additional accessories, the dark field, phase contrast, differential interference contrast, fluorescence and polarization modes can also be used.
The motorized turret head and condenser automate the process of switching between lenses, as well as adjusting the lighting system for a given lens. The user does not have to bother with the settings, so he can focus on the research, which speeds up the activity.
The microscope is suitable for microbiological analysis, medical diagnostics, and solving scientific and research problems.
Microscope head
Three-eye lens head part with optical elements corrected to infinity. The user can choose between 0° and 35° the most comfortable tilt angle for the microscope head. The digital camera is mounted in the triple lens tube. The distribution of the light beam is 0/100, 100/0 or 80/20.
The basic set includes 10x/25 mm eyepieces with adjustable dioptres and long vision for working with glasses.
Turret head and objectives
The motorized turret head for 6 objectives faces inward: the user sees the objective inserted in the optical path, and the area above the stage remains free. An additional lens can be installed in the free aperture to achieve extra magnification. The lenses are plano-achromatic, their parfocal height is 60 mm.
Above the turret head there is a connector opening, which is used to insert an analyzer, compensator, and differential-interference contrast slider.
Remote control of the turret
There are objective selection buttons on the front of the microscope. By pressing a specific button, the turret automatically moves the selected lens into the working position. A separate button can be used to switch between the two most commonly used lenses.
Next to the focusing buttons - on both sides of the frame - there are buttons for turning the revolver head.
The position of the lighting and the condenser is automatically adjusted according to the selected lens.
These features improve user comfort, speed and efficiency. They are an advantage in photomicrography as the recording conditions remain the same for each sample.
Maintaining comfortable brightness when switching between magnifications
Lenses of different magnification transmit light at different intensities, so when changing lenses, you must always adjust the brightness. Also, the brightness suddenly increases when switching from a higher magnification lens to a lower magnification. The sudden increase in brightness causes eye fatigue. MAGUS Bio 290T has intelligent brightness control. The microscope remembers the brightness for each objective selected by the user and automatically adjusts the brightness as the turret is turned. Intelligent control reduces the time required to adjust the brightness. MAGUS Bio 290T increases the user's comfort and saves time even if you have to frequently switch between magnification levels during work.
Focusing mechanism
The coarse and fine focus buttons are coaxial and positioned low. The researcher can place his hands on the table so that he can assume a comfortable position during observation.
The coarse focus lock button allows quick adjustment of the microscope after changing the test object. The knob is located on the left side of the microscope, on the same axis as the focusing mechanism.
The ring on the right adjusts the tightness of the coarse focus range of motion. The user can set a voltage that is comfortable for work.
Object table
A chemically hardened Gorilla Glass sheet is placed on the specimen table. The sheet is durable, resistant to mechanical and chemical effects, and easy to clean. The sample holder is fixed by two screws, which can be easily removed during manual scanning.
The long stage control handle ensures the user's comfort while working: the hand can rest on the table without straining.
Condenser
Optimum condenser settings for each lens: the tiltable additional lens automatically moves out of the way of the light beam for lenses with lower magnification, and returns to its original position for lenses with magnification greater than 10x. One less manual step – for quick and convenient handling. The user can also adjust the position of the additional tiltable condenser lens separately for certain tests.
The condenser is adjustable in height and can be centered. Fastening type: dovetail.
The condenser ring adjusts the iris aperture. White aperture markings and lens magnification color markings are visible on the condenser frame, and there is an indicator mark on the ring. In order to get a contrast image on each lens, it is recommended to rotate the ring so that
