The MAGUS Bio 250T biological microscope is a professional instrument for observing biological samples in transmitted light. The primary observation technique is the bright field technique (ready to use). Dark field, polarization and phase contrast techniques are also available, but require the microscope to be equipped with additional accessories. The microscope is excellent for laboratory and research observations in medicine, pharmacy, forensics, agriculture and other fields.

Optical elements
Infinity-plane achromatic lenses provide clear, contrast-rich and detailed images with minimal distortion. The magnification available with the included objectives and eyepieces is between 40x and 1000x, but the upper limit can be pushed with additional eyepieces. The optics are infinitely corrected, which means that additional accessories can be fitted into the optical path.

The triple lens head unit has a separate vertical tube for mounting a digital camera (not included). It is located vertically. The three-eye lens head is equipped with 360° rotatable tubes, and it is possible to adjust the diopter on the left tube. The design of the three-eye lens head allows for easy adjustment of the eye distance to the height of the observer.

The turret with the objective lenses faces the interior and 5 lenses can fit into the turret at a time - the kit comes with 4 lenses and one slot is empty. An additional lens provides additional magnification within the zoom range.

Illumination
A 30 W halogen bulb provides bright illumination, allowing good visibility of sample structures with any objective lens and any observation technique. The bulb has a warm glow, which is more comfortable for the eyes during long hours of work. Brightness is adjustable. The lighting is powered by an AC power supply.

The Köhler illumination can be adjusted using the centerable and height-adjustable Abbe condenser, the iris diaphragm and the field diaphragm. There is a slot on the condenser into which the darkfield slider or phase contrast slider can be fitted. The slider allows you to quickly switch between research techniques and performance enhancing techniques.

Stage and focusing structure
There is no positioning stand on the stage, which improves ergonomics. The mechanical mount moves the object smoothly and can be removed for manual scanning.

The focus knobs are located on either side of the microscope body, closer to the microscope base, allowing you to place your hands on the table instead of holding them in the air when working for extended periods of time. The buttons are coaxial, i.e. they are located on the same axis. The coarse focusing mechanism has a lock button and is adjustable in tension. The focusing structure is smooth, so you don't need to exert any effort to set it.

Accessories
Optional accessories include eyepieces, objectives, polarizers, darkfield condensers, phase contrast devices, calibration slides, and digital cameras. The tools specially designed for the MAGUS Bio 250T microscope fit optimally with the microscope and make maximum use of its capabilities.
