The MAGUS Bio 250BL microscope can be used for laboratory work, scientific research and university education. It is designed for the observation of thin sections and smears of biological samples in transmitted light. The main observation method is the bright field method, but it is also possible to use dark field, polarization and phase contrast techniques (with additional accessories).

Optical elements
The microscope is equipped with 4 infinity plane achromatic objectives. These produce detailed images with minimal distortion. The objectives are mounted in the revolver head, which can accommodate 5 objective lenses at the same time, of which one aperture remains free. This allows the use of an additional objective lens to achieve additional magnification within the zoom range. The revolver head faces the interior.

The position of the microscope head is comfortable for longer working hours. The height of the eye lenses can be adjusted by rotating the eye lens tubes 360°. The left tube has a diopter adjustment ring and can be fitted with a digital camera (camera not included).

The magnification range of the microscope can be adjusted between 40x and 1000x. The upper limit value can be increased with additional lenses.

Illumination
LED lights allow you to change the brightness without changing the color temperature. The lifetime of the LED bulb is 50,000 hours, and its power is 3 W. A 220 V power supply is required for the lighting to work.

The lighting system also includes an Abbe condenser, an iris diaphragm, and a slide aperture. A darkfield slider or a phase slider can be inserted into the slot. This way you will be able to switch between different research techniques more quickly. The microscope is also equipped with a field diaphragm. Thus, the Köhler lighting method can also be used.

Stage and focusing structure
The main mechanical feature of the microscope is the slide without a positioning stand. It is easy to handle and its mechanism requires less space. The sample is moved using a removable mechanical attachment.

The focus buttons are located at the bottom, where they are more convenient to use - you don't have to hold your hands in the air, so you can adopt a relaxed posture while working. The coarse focusing mechanism has a lock button and is adjustable in tension. There is also a fine focus button. The buttons are located coaxially on both sides of the microscope body.

Accessories
If the performance of the microscope is not sufficient, it can be increased with additional accessories. The MAGUS Bio 250BL microscope is available with optional eyepieces and objectives, dark field, phase contrast and polarization devices, as well as digital cameras and calibration slides.
