The MAGUS Bio 250B biological microscope is an optical instrument for studying thin, transparent and translucent objects. The main microscopy technique used by the device is transmitted light brightfield microscopy. The microscope can be equipped with additional accessories for the use of dark field, phase contrast and polarization techniques. High-quality optics - with additional options to expand its capabilities -, easy-to-use mechanical elements and an intelligent design make this microscope the perfect choice for laboratory, research and educational purposes.

Optical elements
The binocular headpiece allows you to attach a digital camera to one of the eyepiece tubes (camera not included). The tubes can be rotated 360° so that the observer can find a comfortable position according to his height. The diopter adjustment ring is located on the left tube.

The turret head enables the attachment of 5 lenses. The microscope includes infinity-plane achromatic objectives that provide clear, high-contrast images across the entire field of view. A single open hole in the turret allows for the insertion of an additional lens. The turret with the objective lenses faces the inner part, so the user can see the objectives inserted in the optical path, and the area above the stage remains free.

In the basic configuration, the microscope's optics provide magnification between 40x and 1000x. If necessary, additional eyepieces can be used to increase the upper limit of the magnification range.

Illumination
Light source: 30 W halogen bulb. It ensures uniform and bright illumination of the sample with any objective lens and any observation method, including dark field and phase contrast techniques. The warm light spectrum is pleasant and comfortable for the eyes, so it does not get tired even if you work with the microscope for a long time.

The Abbe condenser has a slot into which the darkfield slider or phase slider can be inserted. The design of the condenser simplifies and speeds up the process of switching between research techniques. The condenser is adjustable in height and can be centered. The field diaphragm allows the Köhler illumination to be adjusted.

Stage and focusing structure
The stage has a mechanical mount that can be removed for manual scanning. There is no positioning stand, which ensures the ergonomic operation of the specimen table.

The focus can be adjusted with the coaxial coarse and fine control buttons on both sides of the microscope body. The mechanism is smooth and precise, turning the buttons requires no effort. The coarse focus has a lock button and is adjustable in tension. The focus buttons are located at the bottom. So you can leave your hands on the table, you don't have to keep your arms in the air. This increases the feeling of comfort during longer working periods.

Thanks to the wide range of accessories, MAGUS Bio 250B can be configured in the most convenient way for the user. Eyepieces, lenses, dark field, phase contrast and polarization devices, calibration slides and digital cameras are also available.
