The MAGUS Bio 240B educational microscope was designed for professional training. With its help, you can perform the necessary tests in transmitted light, using the bright field method, and you can also study transparent and translucent biological samples with it. The microscope is equipped with a four-objective, coded, rotatable revolver head with intelligent lighting: we adjusted its brightness to each objective. The device is compact, easy to move and store.

The head was designed to accommodate two eyepieces, and it has an optical system corrected to infinity. The head tubes rotate completely around their axes. The eye distance can be adjusted to the height of the user. 2 standard 10x/20 mm eyepieces are included with the microscope. The set also includes rubber eyecups for users with glasses: the eyecups form a kind of layer between the lenses of the glasses and the eyepieces of the microscope, and also protect the optics from wear, scratches and damage. Each tube is equipped with a diopter adjustment ring: the user can adjust the focus according to his own vision. This feature is especially useful for researchers who have different vision, as each eyepiece can be adjusted independently. If a digital camera is to be connected to the microscope, the camera can be placed in one of the tubes by removing one of the eyepieces.

There are four openings on the turret to accommodate the lenses. The revolver part is directed "inside" the microscope: the researcher sees the work object in front of him, while the other objects are in the distance. The advantage of this arrangement is that there is a large free working area in front of the user. When changing lenses, the brightness usually fluctuates when changing lenses. This puts heavy strain on the eyes and leads to fatigue. The MAGUS Bio 240B microscope is equipped with an intelligent lighting control system to avoid this unpleasant effect: the user has to adjust the brightness of each objective once, then the illumination changes automatically when changing objectives. The user does not have to spend time adjusting the lighting when changing lenses.

The microscope is equipped with a focusing system with coaxially arranged coarse and fine adjustment knobs. These are located on the bottom of the frame and on either side of the tripod, allowing the user to take a comfortable position for focus adjustment. On the left side is the coarse focus adjustment knob, which can be used to quickly adjust the image after changing lenses. On the right is the ring that can be used to adjust the stiffness of the coarse focusing path according to your needs.

The specimen table is equipped with a belt drive mechanism. With its help, the sample can move smoothly under the lenses.

The Abbe condenser was fixed under the microscope stage and factory-set in the center and in the correct vertical position: the user does not need to spend time and energy on installation and configuration. The numerical aperture value of the condenser is 1.25. The iris diaphragm can be adjusted with its handle. Colored lens magnification marks can be read from the condenser: the position of the handle must be adjusted according to the currently used lens in order to obtain a contrast image.

The microscope works in transmitted light. A 3 W LED bulb provides the lighting. Its color temperature can be adjusted between 3000 K and 7000 K, so the illumination can be adjusted to the characteristics of the object being examined. The operating time of the lighting is 50,000 hours.

Another useful feature of the model is the LCD screen. The operating parameters are displayed here: the magnification value of the active lens, the illumination temperature and the operating mode.

The microscope can be moved using the side handles. The device was designed in such a way that the cable and power adapter are hidden on the back wall of the frame. It is also aesthetic, safe and convenient when storing and transporting the microscope.
