MAGUS Bio 230TL biological microscope

The MAGUS Bio 230TL is a biological microscope designed for observing transparent and translucent samples under transmitted light. It suits health inspection laboratories as well as diagnostic and research centres. The triple-head viewing unit and the 3 W LED illumination, rated for 50,000 hours, provide a stable, colour-consistent light source. In its basic configuration it uses brightfield observation, with magnification from 40x to 1000x.

The observation tubes rotate through 360 degrees, allowing the eyepieces to be adjusted to the height of the user. The left tube has a diopter adjustment, and a vertical tube is provided for attaching a digital camera, which is sold separately. The revolving nosepiece holds five infinity-corrected objectives, and the Abbe condenser slot accepts dark-field or phase-contrast sliders for faster switching between techniques.

The specimen stage moves smoothly and precisely, and the coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs sit on both sides for comfortable operation. The set includes an Abbe condenser, objectives at 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x, eyepieces, a dust cover and immersion oil.
