MAGUS 60PL Plan 60х/0.80 ∞/0.17 objective

The 60х/0.80 objective resolution limit is 0.35 µm. Chromatic aberration corrects blue and red, spherical aberration is green and space curvature is adjusted to 90%of the diameter of the field of vision.

The lens is made for an infinitely adjusted tube length. The parcocal distance is 45 mm. In the case of 10х/20 mm lens, the field of vision has a diameter of 0.33 mm. The lens was designed for use with patterns with 0.17 mm tops.

When using 60x lens, the lower limit of the microscope is 400 times. A lower degree of magnification does not allow the details of the object to be distinguished in the image taken by the lens. The upper limit of the useful enlargement is 800 times when using 60x lens. The higher degree of magnification is usually considered "useless" because it does not provide new details of the sample. For 60x/0.80 lenses, use 7x to 16x magnified lenses.

The plane acromatic lenses create an image that are equally focused in the middle and on the edges, with negligible distortion. This advantage is used for digital images and combining with 20 mm high-angle lenses.

The lens is suitable for studying the structural details of the samples from 0.5 µm with a viewpoint of 0.33 mm in diameter - e.g. for sperm analysis.
