Would you break the law if your life was at stake?

Daisy Carvalho Serra, consultant detective of the police, gets involved in a dirty case. He helps the police with a murder in which the way it was committed is very reminiscent of a previous case. But the serial killer of that time is already dead.
Oliver Walsh, one of the top criminals of the local criminal organization, the Phantoms, helps the local forces in obtaining information in return for a plea deal.

The investigation is being carried out with great strength, but there is someone among the police who knows much more than he is sharing with the authorities. Who is he and what is his purpose in listening? How does Daisy deal with the parallels between the two murders, and what does she even have to do with the cases? How far will the killer go when driven by the desire for revenge?

This time, writer Bettina Ludányi's novel reveals to the readers a world full of betrayal and intrigue, where you don't know who is one step ahead: the murderer or the police. Secrets, lies, and a battle of mind and heart all wrapped up in one story.
