This RJ45 field assembly plug, Cat.8.1 and Class I, is designed for solid installation cable only and is not suitable for stranded wire. It is fitted without special tools and works with Cat.6A, Cat.7 and Cat.8 cable of 22 to 24 AWG.
The fully shielded housing is made of zinc die-cast and can be reused. A metal screw-type strain relief secures cables with an outer diameter of 6 to 8.5 mm. The wire diameter including insulation is 1.35 to 1.5 mm.
The plug can be wired to either the T568A or T568B pin assignment.
