This portable unit detects HDCP content as well as the signal status (5V, TMDS), indicated by status LEDs. Functions are selected using micro buttons. Connections include one Micro-USB B socket and one HDMI port.

When used as a display emulator, the device draws its power from the HDMI source; for operation as a signal generator, an external USB power supply is required. Power consumption is only 1.2 W. The package includes a Micro-USB cable (Type A to Micro B), a stainless steel pen and the LINDY manual.
