The Lindy DisplayPort 1.4 EDID Emulator Adapter is designed for systems that require an uninterrupted signal to solve EDID issues that often occur when using AV equipment such as KVMs, extenders, splitters and switches.

The emulator also features LED indicators for a quick, easy installation process and supports up to 7620x4320@30Hz or 3840x2160@144Hz HDR (via cloning), HDCP 2.2 and DPCP 2.0 throughput, making this emulator perfect for use with Ultra HD 4K monitors, displays and source equipment.

The headless EDID adapter allows a simulated connection on the video source device without connecting an actual monitor.

Thanks to its small scale and minimalist design, it is a practical connection solution for both AV and IT installers, ensuring that old and new DP equipment works smoothly without compromising performance.

This adapter can quickly and easily clone the EDID data from the DP display, so the graphics card can directly access the corresponding data from the display, the cloning process takes less than 10 seconds; Alternatively, the EDID emulator is configured with a preset EDID that uses the most common resolution/timing combinations. Note: When the EDID emulator is in headless mode, rebooting will cause the resolution to default to 3840x2160@60Hz, 4:2:2, 8-bit.
