The Lindy 70m Cat.6 4-Port HDMI and IR Splitter Extender is an easy-to-use plug and play solution that allows users to extend an HDMI signal up to 50m away and then split that signal to four displays with a cheap Cat. .6 using a UUTP cable (not included). For greater convenience, the infrared signals (20-60 kHz) can be extended with the included infrared receiver and transmitter cables.

With resolutions up to 4K30 including 1080p 3D, the Splitter Extender is designed for use in AV and digital signage applications in a variety of environments such as home, education, business, retail and healthcare.

The transmitter's built-in HDMI loop output allows for simultaneous viewing, so a local display can be connected for monitoring or to create an additional viewing zone. For larger installations, the HDMI loop-through port can be used to cascade up to 3 transmitters, allowing you to connect up to 12 displays to a single source.

The HDMI loop-through port also allows the Splitter Extender to clone the EDID of the connected display. The integrated EDID emulation system provides EDID presets for perfect compatibility with many EDID-enabled devices.

The Power over Cable (PoC) feature provides power for the entire installation using a single power supply connected to the transmitter – perfect for retrofit installations where receivers are located away from the mains supply. The power supply is connected via a screw DC socket, providing a safe and reliable connection, ideal for installations where accidental disconnections may occur. For added convenience, the Splitter Extender's slim design and built-in mounting brackets make it easy to install in limited spaces behind modern flat screens.
