The LINDY USB 2.0 Cat.6 Extender stretches the distance between a computer and four USB peripherals by up to 60 metres, using a single Cat.5e/6 or higher network cable. A transmitter connects directly to the computer, while a receiver at the far end connects to the USB devices. For the best performance and compatibility, solid-core patch cables are recommended.
It works with USB 2.0 devices such as storage drives, printers, scanners, mice and keyboards. Data is transferred at USB 2.0 High Speed rates of up to 480 Mbps. The included power supply provides a safe and reliable power feed.
The extender uses plug and play installation and is independent of the operating system. The black unit weighs about 36 grams.
