The Lindy Cat.6 HDMI 4K60 & IR Extender with PoC is an efficient, reliable solution for extending high-quality 4K HDMI signals over a distance of 50 meters with a standard Cat.5e/6 network cable. Support for the HDMI 2.0 18G specification enables the transmission of extremely detailed 4K Ultra HD resolutions. With High-Dynamic Range support, video content can be displayed with increased brightness, greater black-and-white contrast and a much wider color gamut, perfect for a true home theater experience or eye-catching digital signage in retail environments. HDCP 2.2 compliance allows viewing of 4K video content from copy-protected sources such as Blu-Ray movies, media players and streaming services without compatibility issues. Support for lossless audio formats including DolbyTrueHD and DTS-HD adds powerful multi-channel sound to video content, providing an enhanced experience and sense of reality for the viewer.

The extender has an HDMI loop output on the transmitter, allowing simultaneous viewing of local and remote displays. This versatility makes it suitable for various scenarios such as educational display systems, home theater, entertainment systems or exhibitions. The built-in EDID dip switch allows the user to control which EDID to take from any display, making installation and configuration simple, ensuring maximum compatibility with HDMI displays and projectors. PoC allows both power and data signals to be transmitted over Cat.6 cable in a point-to-point configuration, increasing flexibility as only one power supply is required for the transmitter and receiver. Ideal if sockets are limited.

With IR Pass-through, the source equipment can be seamlessly controlled from the installation's remote display with compatible infrared remote controls. This gives the user easy and complete control.
