The Lindy Cat.6 DisplayPort 1.2 and USB HDBaseT KVM Extender is a high-end, reliable solution for extending high-quality 4K DisplayPort signals over long distances with a standard Cat.6 network cable.

When using high quality Cat.6 U/UTP or F/UTP solid core cable, the following distance and resolution combinations are possible:
- 150m: 1920x1080@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit
- 100m: 3840x2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit

Supporting up to 4K Ultra HD resolution, video can be viewed with stunning clarity. This provides a reliable solution for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail, creating immersive displays at events or attractive settings in larger conference rooms or auditoriums.

This extender also supports lossless audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD to add powerful multi-channel sound to video content, providing an even better experience and immersion for the viewer. A USB KM connection via 2 USB HID ports allows the keyboard and mouse on the receiver to control a DP-equipped PC from a remote PC setup that can be stored in a secure or temperature-controlled environment, while seamlessly providing consistent video content from the source. .

The setup has two-way infrared ports on each side, so the source device can be seamlessly controlled from the display side, and the display can also be controlled from the DisplayPort source device. RS-232 connections also enable integration into pre-installed control systems. In addition, PoC (Power over Cable) functionality provides additional flexibility. This allows power to be supplied in addition to data via a Cat.6 network cable in a point-to-point connection between transmitter and receiver, meaning that only one power supply is required for the transmitter or receiver. It is ideal, for example, if network sockets are limited on the receiving side of the installation.

Built-in EDID features ensure maximum compatibility with the receiver's display or projector, further empowering this system to deliver high-quality 4K DP content across distances with ease and minimal hassle for the user.

HDBaseT is a globally recognized standard for high-quality distribution of AV content and other technologies, including power and control, over longer distances via inexpensive Cat.6 or higher cable.

Attention: keep the units in a cool and dry place. If the extension cord must remain in an enclosed and small area, ensure that the operating temperature is within the range specified in the technical data.
