The Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 50 is a compact, lightweight telescope with quality glass optics. With this universal model, simpler observations can be made on the planets of the Solar System, terrestrial objects, the Moon and (only with a separate filter) the Sun. Sunspots on the surface of the Sun can be observed with a telescope. You have to be very careful when observing the Sun. Always make sure that the solar filter is firmly attached to the telescope tube. The filter must cover the entire aperture. Never look at the Sun and the bright sky around it through a finder scope.

The lenses are covered with several layers of anti-reflective coating, which reduces light loss. The set includes a quality diagonal mirror. It provides a stationary (distortion-free) image and breaks the optical axis of the telescope, which ensures comfortable observation of objects around the zenith. The telescope comes with a 45x and 18x magnification eyepiece with a 1.25-inch diameter eyepiece. The kit also includes a 3x Barlow lens. With the included accessories, you can get 135x magnification. The maximum practical magnification of the telescope is 100x.

The Levenhuk Skyline 50 is a compact, reliable telescope mounted on alt-azimuth mechanics. Its use is very simple. Even a child can assemble this telescope. Another advantage of the mechanism is its low weight. The binoculars can be comfortably carried by the handle. The mechanics are attached to an aluminum tripod; its height can be adjusted between 40 cm and 125 cm.

After unpacking the telescope, you can start observing immediately: the kit contains everything you need. This optical instrument does not need to be adjusted. The light-weight binoculars can easily be taken with us on trips or in the countryside in the accompanying backpack. The backpack is big enough for the scope, mechanics, tripod and accessories.
