The Levenhuk Skyline BASE 70T is an ideal choice for a first telescope, it will not disappoint beginner astronomers. The kit includes optical accessories that allow you to use the refractor's capabilities to the fullest. You do not need to buy additional elements, as all necessary accessories are included in the set. With the Levenhuk Skyline BASE 70T telescope, the Moon and its craters, Venus, dim and double stars, globular and open clusters can be observed in a wonderful way. Under ideal conditions, even Mars, Saturn and Jupiter can be observed. The distant planets of the Solar System appear as tiny dots. The telescope is also suitable for terrestrial observations.

The Levenhuk Skyline BASE 70T is a refractor telescope equipped with optical elements made of fully coated glass. The optical surfaces cannot fog up, require little maintenance, and the optical elements provide a sharp and detailed image. A 6x magnification optical finder scope and an alt-azimuth stand take care of aiming at the objects. Finding stars, planets and nebulae in the sky will not be a problem even for the most inexperienced astronomers.

In addition to the basic set of optical accessories, it is not necessary to purchase additional lenses. The set includes two eyepieces with different focal lengths, as well as 2 Barlow lenses and a diagonal mirror. With the help of the accessories, the telescope can be used with maximum practical performance, and astronomical objects can be observed in detail. It is worth using a diagonal mirror for terrestrial observations. Telescopes produce an upside-down image, which is not suitable for terrestrial observations. A diagonal mirror counteracts this phenomenon.

The alt-azimuth stand is a stable and massive structure. An accessory tray is also attached to this. The height of the legs of the tripod can be adjusted, which is a useful feature when the telescope needs to be set up on an uneven surface or when it needs to be adjusted to the height of the observer.
