The Levenhuk Ra R80 ED Doublet Carbon OTA is an 80mm short-focus apochromatic refractor with ultra-low dispersion optics. It has a large aperture and a wide field of view, but its main advantage is that it effectively reduces chromaticism and therefore transmits a very clear image. Due to the fully multi-layered optics, the telescope provides extremely high-contrast and bright images. This optical tube is a great choice for visual observations and astrophotography.

The body is made of carbon fiber, which is lighter than aluminum. In addition, the thermal stabilization of the optical tube assembly is faster, since its body does not change internally due to temperature changes, and only the optics and the air inside need to "cool". This allows you to start observing faster, as well as the quick-release thumb screw. The optical tube assembly features a 2" 2x speed Crayford focuser. It provides smooth focusing, no downside, and holds heavy optical accessories securely.
