LEVENHUK Ra R72 ED Doublet OTA

The Levenhuk Ra R72 ED Doublet OTA is a convenient optical device. The primary purpose of this telescope is astrophotography, but it is also well suited for visual observation of space, including the planets of the Solar System and a variety of deep-sky objects. It gives a contrast image, allows you to observe dim stars and provides a good view. While this optical tube is quite compact and lightweight. This is an advantage on long journeys.

This optical tube assembly (OTA) is an apochromatic refractor with ultra-low dispersion optics. Suppresses chromatic aberrations, especially secondary and spherochromatism. The lens fully explores all the capabilities of the aperture, creating a high-resolution image and allowing you to see the fine details of astronomical objects. The mechanics of the optical tube are precisely calibrated and work flawlessly, allowing you to fully concentrate on your observations. Thanks to the 2-inch 2-speed Crayford focuser, you can adjust the focus very smoothly.

The tube body is made of aluminum with high-quality darkening. A quick-release thumb screw allows the optical tube assembly to be mounted on state-of-the-art mounts. The kit includes a robust aluminum case for storage and transport.
