The Levenhuk MED 10B is an achromatic laboratory microscope with a binocular head unit. Designed for professional work with microscope slides, this microscope can be used for a variety of tasks in clinics, science centers, research or medical laboratories, and educational institutions. With the help of the achromatic optical element of the microscope, you can perform observations with a magnification of up to 1000 times. You can also study bacteria and cell structures with the microscope.

The binocular head part is tilted at an angle of 30°, so it allows the user a comfortable posture even during longer observations. It can be rotated 360°.

Eyepieces and objective lenses are made of optical glass with an anti-fungal coating. Extensive patterns are also clearly visible through the 10x magnification eyepiece. The microscope was equipped with an achromatic objective lens. The degree of magnification of the microscope can be changed by rotating the turret head. The 100x objective lens can also be used for oil immersion observations (the vial containing the immersion oil is part of the kit). High magnification objective lenses have spring-loaded frames.

The samples can be placed on the stage using a mechanical scale. The stage can be moved along two axes, and the image sharpness can be adjusted with coarse and fine adjustments. The lighting is provided by a high-brightness 5 W LED lamp located under the specimen table. Between the lamp and the sample is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder.

The lighting requires an AC mains power supply. In the lighting system, it is also possible to control the brightness.
