The Ermenrich NetGeeks NU20 optical multimeter is used to test optical cables. It can measure absolute optical power in any fiber optic system source, measure optical power loss in a cable, and perform a continuity test to check for breaks in fiber optic cables. The optical multimeter is an essential tool for network cable installers, system administrators and fiber optic engineers to solve a wide range of professional tasks. The device can also be used at home (for private purposes).

Six wavelengths are available. It supports single and multimode cables and has FC/SC/ST fiber optic connectors and RJ45 network connector. The device has a built-in backlit screen with LED displays and control buttons below. The device is powered by a rechargeable battery that can be charged using a USB Type-C cable. For energy-saving use, the multimeter has an automatic shutdown function that activates after 30 minutes of inactivity.
