The Ermenrich NetGeeks NP10 cable and PoE tester can be used to test network and telephone cables (Ethernet-based power supply, circuit break, short circuit) and to determine the location of the power supply equipment (midspan, i.e. in the middle of the cable line, or endspan, i.e. at the end of the cable line). The tester is easy to use thanks to the intuitive controls, so both professionals and beginners can handle it.

The device consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The former has three ports: RJ45, RJ11, PoE. The latter has a single port for connecting RJ45 and RJ11. Only the transmitter needs power (one 9V battery).
