The Discovery Micro Polar is a biological microscope for beginners that can be used to observe a transparent sample. This can be a pre-prepared slide, a drop of water and the microcosm inside it, or a self-made slide. The microscope is small and light, so it can easily be put away. So you can use the device not only at home, but you can also take it with you on a trip or on a countryside tour.

Optical system
The magnification range is between 40x and 640x, so it is not suitable for observing bacteria and blood cells. At the same time, animal and plant tissues, cells, insect body parts and small organisms living in water can also be observed with this microscope. The microscope has three objective lenses (4x, 10x and 40x magnification) and a sliding two-position eyepiece between 10x and 16x magnification. The head, which is tilted at an angle of 45°, makes it comfortable even for longer observations. Sharpness can be adjusted manually with the coarse focus adjustment buttons. Using the microscope is not a problem even for those with little experience.

Adjustable LED lighting system
The samples can be fixed on the specimen table with the help of two clips. There is an LED light under the specimen table. We recommend that you use this lamp if the ambient lighting is not adequate. Since the backlight is powered by batteries (batteries are included in the set), the device can be lit even in a place far from a socket. The intensity of the illumination can be adjusted. The illumination flux value can also be adjusted with the diaphragm plate.

The microscope is accompanied by the "Invisible World" educational book. The colorful book introduces young scientists to the mysteries of the microworld. Among other things, you can read about the history of microscopy, microorganisms and other structures that can be seen with the help of a microscope. In addition to interesting facts, the book also contains experiments that can be carried out at home.
