The Discovery Atto Polar digital microscope is a biological light microscope equipped with a 5 megapixel digital camera. The equipment is suitable for displaying the world of microbes, as well as for saving recordings of samples in image or video format. The magnification value of the microscope can be changed between 40x and 1000x, so it is possible to observe individual details regardless of the level of transparency, even if you conduct an experiment using immersion oil. The set also includes a comprehensive book on the world of microbes.

Achromatic optics, magnification between 40x and 1000x
The single-point head part can be rotated 360° along the horizontal plane. Due to the tilting of the head at an angle of 45°, even longer observations become more comfortable. The optical system includes the wide-angle, 10x magnification eyepiece with a reticle indicating the center of the field of view and the four achromatic objectives with the following magnification values: 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x. The 40x and 100x magnification objective lenses have a spring structure, which provides additional protection for the equipment. The device has a coarse and fine focus adjustment option.

Combined LED lighting
The microscope stage was equipped with a mechanical scale for optimal application of micropreparation techniques. The lighting system consists of two-part LED lighting with adjustable brightness. One part illuminates the equipment from above, the other from below. Lighting in both directions can be operated from batteries (included in the set) and from the mains. (The mains adapter is also included in the kit). The microscope also comes with an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder (the blue filter is included in the set).

5 megapixel digital camera for recording pictures and videos
With a 5 megapixel camera, the model is capable of more than its competitors. The camera can be mounted on the eyepiece tube, in place of the eyepiece, and connected to the computer via a USB cable. You can use the CD included in the kit to install the software required to use the camera. The camera can project images on the computer screen in a resolution of 2592x1944, but it can also record images and video recordings. Images and videos can also be edited at a basic level.
