The buttons on the microscope frame can be used to make coarse and fine focus.

The lighting unit illuminates the table from below. Microscope patterns can be placed on the table with a mechanical scale. The light beam is regulated by an iris-light Abbe-condensor, while the lighting itself is nourished by alternating current. The light source is a strong 3 -watt LED lamp with a light collector.
